The long-awaited CZ 75 TS CZECHMATE has finally reached our shores. Well not exactly! It's skipped the shore and landed at the dry ports of Lahore and Peshawar :dance: .

So what is it all about?

Well, they call it the 'Tack-Driver'. It is specially designed for sport shooting according to IPSC - Open Division rules. The Company website claims that "this pistol represents an absolute zenith, not only by precision of fit and finish, but also by a wide range of accessories available directly in its standard version."

I paid a visit to Fakhr-e-Alam and initial impression was :o :shock: and then

Image

... coz I couldn't have one. If only money could grow on trees and I had a whole bagh (garden) of such trees. :roll: Aaahhh!

Image

The fit and finish, quality of workmanship is ummmmmmmmpa! I read that individual parts and components are match fitted, broke-in and tested. Each Czechmate comes outfitted with a four-port compensator, nut for shooting without a compensator, the slide stop with an extended finger piece, the slide stop without a finger piece, ergonomic grip panels from aluminium with a new type pitting and side mounting provision with the C-More red dot sight. For the shooting without a red dot sight there is included a standard target rear sight of Tactical Sports type, package contains also the front sight.

Here's what the package looks like:

Image

What surprises me is that this gun retails for USD 3399 (Rs 292k) and it's available here for Rs. 280k. This is an extremely attractive price.

TECHNICAL SPECS

Calibre 9 mm Luger
Magazine Capacity 20

The Czechmate is based on a modified version of the CZ 75 TS frame. It comes with all parts necessary to run in IPSC Open or Limited division (both in 9mm). The Czechmate comes configured for Open division competition with a compensator and C-More red dot sight installed. A spare barrel is included along with a front sight adaptor that replaces the compensator, and a rear sight to replace the slide racker handle when switching from Open to Limited configuration. A big stick 26 round magazine and three 20 round magazines are included in the CZ hard case.

THE STANDARD PACKAGE (BOX) INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STUFF:

- A C-more slide ride non-click 6 moa dot;
- an ambidextrous slide racker;
- three 20 round magazine’s;
- one 26 round magazine;

- a competition hammer;
- two slide stops with a slide lock;
- four slide stop pins with out slide lock;

- an undercut trigger guard and beavertail for high grip.

Kai (a Norwegian member from CZforum) posted this chrono test he conducted few days back with his new Czechmate:

Quote:
Tried first to check which bullet length i could go for in the gun, tried 2 diferent types of bullets, 1: Frontier 124 grn RN and 2: Artzipilago 124 grn TC, i had to set them at 29mm any longer they got stuck on the rifling in the barrel.
Here is some of my loading data, this is mean't for the experiensed self loader.

Frontier 123 grn
Vithavouri 3N38

AV.1368
PF.168,3

1.1360
2.1367
3.1373
AV.1366
PF.168

I uses the Federal SP because it is easy to look fore pressure signs, there is pressure, but not too much

When i shoot theese loades i thought that this was not enough PF because the recoil was so light. i tried also som factory ammo and of course they felt lighter. i shot about 400 rnds with only a couple of jams, due to my own loaded ammo. I also tried some "production" loads from a friend of mine with a PF of 126 and my gun worked perfectly.

Best Regards

As the CZECHMATE discussion is already going, I find this thread appropriate instead of opening another one. Yesterday went to a dealer and saw this much awaited beauty, but price is too steep.. its for 380K. :(
It came with three extra 20 rounds magazines, compensated barrel, red dot sight.. package also contain one extra slide stop, adjustable rear sights and front sight, magazine loader.
Took some quick pictures.

Is there any option of buying it without compensator and red dot sight?

what a share Aquarius bro, mouth watering, as for the price didn't you say that it was 290K, but even with 380K, I would definitely go for the Chechmate rather than the X6, you get all the extra goodies with it. Bro what was the weight like?

Shariq bhai you can take out the red dot sight and the compensator easily (I Think :think: ). Because you should get the front sight etc with the package, as far as I remember reading on the CZ web-site.

Yes that was a misunderstanding which I confirmed today.. price is 380K for all the package.
About the weight well since its all metal, would be equal or slightly heavier than Shadow with the compensator.. Trigger is lighter than shadow say at par with CZ Tactical Sports.. :)

Thanks for sharing Aquarius.

I still feel that 380k is a very reasonable price for a match gun which sells for around $3,500/- in the States. That's 1.2 times the price. When we look at the prices at which HKs, Glocks, Walthers, etc are available to us, we'll see that we are getting these guns at around 4 times the US retail price. So, still, CZs are being sold at a relatively reasonable price here in Pk.

Guys, a word of caution or maybe advice.

This dealer Fakhr-e-Alam / National Traders is in the habit of taking out stuff from the package. He's been doing this with the Shadow/Phatom/Rami/etc that's he's sold during the last two / three months. I have a feeling that he'll be doing the same with the Czechmate.

Please make sure that you get all the stuff that comes standard with the package. Refer the list of stuff that comes in box which I've mentioned above in my first post.

Don't pay the 380k demanded unless you get all the stuff.

It seems he's planning to sell this separately later on. He's already quoting 5k to 6k for spare Shadow/Phatom mags.

+1

This dealer is not a man of word. I know people to whom he committed to sell a gun at 75000 and when they went to buy it next day he asked 85000. He also increased price from 75000 to 85000 then 95000 then even to 120000 in case of CZ pistols when he saw the interest and that no other dealer had those pistols to sell. He exploited the situation and looted gun enthusiasts.

Learnt from a friend that the Czeckmate comes with only one barrel (not three), with two mags (not four) and without adjustable sights. This incomplete package is not a good deal in my view. Also learnt that the price has come down to 325-300 k but its still not selling.

With the available package, its just a TS with better cosmetics. :roll:

Who would like to pay double the price for only cosmetic differences. A bad deal indeed.

I agree KBW bhai, and for me quite a disappointment with this new info, plus also checked that mags and even barrels are not a part of the package as of yet, was waiting and saving up for this baby, I even let go of some wonderful deals on some CZs I had on my wish list,and also I would never use this gun with the red dot sight and the compensator, was going to install the front sight and remove the red dot sight. Aahh well, other CZ beauties are out there waiting for me now :D .

Best of Luck Haider. There will be better models then. Go for the best, nothing else, at that time.

In the meanwhile, is the SHADOW for Haider already acquired?
