Has any TGF member buy a czechmate? I read in some thread that one member buy this gun but no review so far :(

Can anyone comment about performance of this pistol. Thanks. :handgestures-salute:

MB Bro, Ghazi sb owns it for sure, and I have used it for some days (not the same gun), its performance is excellent as stated by CZ and what is written in reviews, but is purely purely a range gun. Did not use it enough to give a detailed comment on the gun, but if you want a range gun its is one of the best ones out there, you will be surprised at what kind of accuracy you can get out of a 9mm ammo.

@mhrehman bro,

Would love to shoot this someday, I don't think anyone in Karachi has this yet.

How would this compare to a TS in accuracy, if shot with iron sights?

Saif bro, I believe CM would give much better results, the CM even beats the X6 in capable hands, even Ghazi sb is witness to this.

congratulations delacruz. How does it shoot? (of course we know it shoots wonderful, need to know how you find it, in your own words!)

Brother, you have got one of the best that money can buy. Hope to see the results and we will be very grateful if you do a review for Czeckmate. BTW, which is the pistol in the bottom in first pic? Is it a TS with a compensator?

Hahaha. I'm just kidding, brothers. That's not mine. I'm not that rich. 2 of my gun buddies have 'em. That one in the picture was used in IPSC type competition until 17,000 rounds, the other became a display piece.
In IPSC, the power factor of the 9mm has to be increased, hence, that czechmate endured a lot of abuse. Despite which, the performance remains the same. The barrel is much OK, as well as the slide-frame-barrel fit. The finish and especially the magwell was tarnished though.
When I shot the Czechmate, to be honest, I find there's really nothing special about it, compared to a, say MAC 2011, STI or SVI racegun. Another thing, why did they make it in 9mm instead of .38 super which is more advantageous in IPSC competition?

That's a CZ Champion in .40. Also a good shot.

Didn't say it earlier coz I thought someone might consider it blasphemous...... I second Delacruz12002. I too didn't find anything special about the Czechmate.

I'd like to hear Saif, KBW, Ghazi sb and armoredman's views on this too.

I have not shot it, so cannot say how it handles in actual shooting.

Grip was thinner, and reach was shorter, than on my TS, which also has thin aluminum grips. The reason was frame size reduction from factory under the beavertail and the trigger guard.

Trigger was standard what can be achieved with a competition hammer, without any custom work on the hammer itself to reduce camming. My TS with some custom work now has a better trigger, much better.

It looks better finished though than the TS, particularly in all black..

Thankyou for sharing your feedback Saif. And how would you rate it from "Value for Money" perspective in comparison to your TS and Shadow, respectively.

It is a different weapon, designed for shooting major loads in open division, with optic sights and compensator etc. It cannot be compared, as it is a specific competition weapon, and that too for a specific type of competition! If one were to shoot it against the TS or Shadow in Open division, the Czechmate would give major advantage in both sights (red dot optics) as well as recoil etc. It would give similar advantage in Thoothi competition type of matches, if optical sights are allowed. For such purpose, it is very good value for money.

For any other use (precision shooting type), it is absolutely very less value for money compared to TS or Shadow.

how does one fit the front sight on the Czechmate? There is no notch in the slide. Can any member guide in this regard?
