Ah.... so POF is organising these matches. It's great to see POF getting into the field of promoting sport shooting and I am sure Ghazi sb has a role in it.

Where are these matches being held?

The information provided by Ghazi sb say only a rifle competition. But there is no harm in holding a handgun competition too. It would be very interesting in fact. However, Ghazi sb will be able to throw some light on it. :)

The psitol matches are over. I won the Gold in Speed pistol and my son the Silver.
In the .22 Rifle I won the Gold; Col Ali Army Team won silver and Mohsin Faisalabad won Bronze.
In Other events the Army Team over shadowed every one.
The Rifle Matches are being held now.
Well the main person behind this sudden awakening of the POFs is General Ahsan Mahmud the Chairman; he ordered the Matches to be held.
KBW and his sons are seriously missed specially by myself.

I stood 3rd in the 400m match and my son Ahmad Jawed stood 5th out of 40 shooters which included most of the finest shots in the country. Maj Junaid of Army Marks manship Unit stood First he stood first also in the 600m match.
Ahmad and myself could not shoot well we were shooting the same rifle and it started to shoot all over the target. I later found that one of the action bolts securing the trigger guard and the trigger assembly with the reciever had broken; although the rifle was functional the bullets started stringing upwards due to the lack of support of the action.

Salam All,
Heartiest congratulations to Major Junaid. I saw this his rifle almost 7 months or so ago at his home and knew right there and then that MashAllah its a winners rifle. This thing looks ordinary from far take a closer look and you will find the many different innovations NOT found on other high end rip off rifles...
