Salaam, The air rifle that i have is a Diana MOD.36 and it is probably older than i am, Recently the rear sight of my rifle broke so i have fitted a Aimpoint Replica sight on it. i thought i might share with you guys. The dots show of different size due to some camera focus or something in reality they are of same size, Red and Green My father installed a toggle switch in place of the rotary brightness selecter because it stopped working after a few rotations I guess i will remove the front sight also after zeroing. i have not fired the rifle yet with the red dot sight installed as i dont have a proper place to carry out such exercise.

It's a beautiful air rifle and considering it's older that you, it is apparently very well maintained. Is it possible to get a new set of sights for it ? How well does the aimpoint scope holds on a single mount ? Please post some shooting results in our Airgun Shooting thread asap bro

@ SA: Speaking of sights ... did you get any for me?? and speaking of getting any for me ... I haven't paid for the Pellets yet! And speaking of that, I remember I have to talk to you about something else you did!

Thanks for the comment on maintainence My father bought in 83 or 84 i guess. I was born in 85 The new sights will have to bought from diana direct in germany and they cost more than the rifle when it was bought back in the 80s . The sight is holidng good on a single mount. it does not have any sort of movement when i press it or try to torque it. I will know better when i have fired it and it experience some real world air rifle recoil . I dont have a good place to try out the rifle but i will sure post some results when i get the chance. @MR Please i will be more than happy if we can try this out some where under you supervision

Regarding the rest I'll call you and discuss.

Salam to all, these laser optics sure do look good I used to have one which I installed on my BSA airsporter but later took it off because it was only good enough for paper targets and lizards but whenever I pointed it on pests like crows as soon as they felt or see the red dot on their body they took off instantly so after giving it a lot of goes I took that sight off and it's lying somewhere in my cupboard.

Yes mr ayubi that's very true I like shooting crows as they seem to be the most cunning ones but infact all birds are familiar with red dot as soon as they feel it on their body don't know about rabbits coz I didn't tried on them.

Hashmat bhai this is not the red laser type you are mentioning. this is a holographic type site in which no light ever exits the objective lens. Only the shooter sees the dot, not the target
