I have Hatsan escort combo (2 barrels) in semi. Its not as robust as Baikal but so far its good. Its a very decent option for SD and hunting due to 2 barrels option. I have had no issues using since beginning of 2012. 300-350 rounds would have been fired from it.

Brother frankly speaking Browning Maxus ans Baikal MP series is like comparing apples and oranges. Both of these are excellent weapons, incidentally I happen to own both, these are indifferent money slot and different functions to perform,,, if you shoot at longer ranges and weight of the gun is no problem then go for Baikal,,, but if you have to walk longer distances for wing shooting at shorter ranges then go for Maxus. Both guns are reliable companions, in all fields.
YOUR MONEY YOUR CHOICE.

Nicely explained Mustanir sb. But if you can extend the budget go for the Borwning.

I was not comparing baikal with maxus, was just telling the thought process i was in. Till now i am still undecided but i have called up a friend to look for a Baikal. Possibly We will buy 3 Baikal MP155 together if you can point me in the right direction where to visit and who will quote a good rate for 3 baikals
