BTW, Who says that an O/U is best in any field in which a SxS is inferior ? The most expensive shotguns of the world are SxS. :confusion-scratchheadyellow:

This question might be like this, " Why most skeet shooters use O/U shotguns?" :confusion-questionmarks:

I seek our corrections by our seniors. :character-oldtimer:

Because o/u provides a cleaner sight picture, it doesn't hide as much of your view as a SxS.
It also has better recoil handling, however minor.

SxS doesn't really bring anything other than nostalgia to the table.

Technically, I am not sure if their is any difference in the shot spread, however, I agree that it provides a better sight picture of the moving skeet. I haven't so far seen a professional skeet shooter using SXS

O/U gives a better sight picture and who says these are cheaper than S/Ss :)

I second the better sight picture phenomenon in o/u. Other than that, there is nothing much difference in O/U as compared to SxS
