Beretta has a kick-off mechanism available in stocks of some of their shotguns which dampens the recoil with the help of two integrated oil hydraulic dampeners. Wanted to know:

1) If use of such mechanism is allowed in competitions internationally (for both skeet and trap) as they do give competitive edge to the shooter.

2) Secondly, one skeet player told me that this mechanism has adverse effect on accuracy especially at the time of the second shot during skeet as aiming of the shot is disturbed because of the forward movement of barrel? Kindly advice if this is true?

3) Can a competition sports shotgun as Beretta DT 10 & SV 10 Prevail III also use for hunting?

Very technical question which need a first hand user plus an expert feedback. I think Ghazi sb is the right person to give a verdict on this.
