I am wanting to add some mylar emergency sleeping bags to my bob kit, and notice there are many brands. So far I have not been able to gather much usable information about which types and brands are well made, and reusable for a week or more of use.

If anyone here has used some and has a favorite brand or design, please educate me here.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Adonis

Sorry bro, I am just 2 years, 1 month and 5 days late in replying to your query. :ugeek: Haven't seen you around since ages. Hope you are ok.

Thanks to TGF that they have reorganised the outdoor section which was my long standing request. I didn't see this thread earlier but now, with much better organised outdoor section, I was able to see this and many other threads for first time. You may not be needing this information now, but here is a sleeping bag that I use and might be helpful to other members.....

It manufactured by Tennier Industries, USA and is really a very fine sleeping bag. It is good enough for temperatures up to -30 degrees C and folds into a small bag which can be easily tagged along with the back pack. Very light, the whole in packed form just weighs 1.5 kg. :violin:

This sleeping bag can be purchased from Double Road Quetta and Sitara Market Peshawar. Price will be between 3-5 k, depending upon your bargaining skills.
