I am wanting to add some mylar emergency sleeping bags to my bob kit, and notice there are many brands. So far I have not been able to gather much usable information about which types and brands are well made, and reusable for a week or more of use.

If anyone here has used some and has a favorite brand or design, please educate me here.

Thanks to TGF that they have reorganised the outdoor section which was my long standing request. I didn't see this thread earlier but now, with much better organised outdoor section, I was able to see this and many other threads for first time. You may not be needing this information now, but here is a sleeping bag that I use and might be helpful to other members.....

It manufactured by Tennier Industries, USA and is really a very fine sleeping bag. It is good enough for temperatures up to -30 degrees C and folds into a small bag which can be easily tagged along with the back pack. Very light, the whole in packed form just weighs 1.5 kg.





This sleeping bag can be purchased from Double Road Quetta and Sitara Market Peshawar. Price will be between 3-5 k, depending upon your bargaining skills.
