google filled with pics of type 84 s

The AK platform is not inaccurate in its inherent caliber i-e 7.62x39 even . One just need to practice. A person having a good command on AK would give a tough competition to an AR user on the iron sights on any given day . I think , as the 5.56 is a caliber having a soft recoil , it would definitely enhance the potential of Norinco AK 5.56 with regard to shoot accurately. But the main attractiveness of customization would be compromised in AK platform , you would not be able to find magazines abundantly and would be stuck to use many factory fitted things and the barrel is just a single example

@ six-shooter,
Sir, what I observed is that CQA's muzzle braker is not properly indexed.thats why you guys had accuracy problem coz of bad recoil pulse.

I'll say the same, stay away from T97, it's ugly & has bad reviews. CQ-A is much better than that.

If one want's to spend more, go for Saiga or Vepr.

Norinco ammo is little HOT.better to use green tip.
otherwise,CQ-A is best value for money.

I'm having my eye on Saiga in 5.45x39, which is exactly an AK-74 in semi auto.

What is the twist rate of CQ-A 5.56 barrel? 1/12, 1/9 or 1/7? Or there are barrels available with all three twist rates?
And how is the performance of various ammos with different twist rate barrels?

regards
