Am looking for a brand new Browning Hi-Power but have not been able to find one. Similarly with the CZ SP01 in steel.
Any guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks a lot!

It would be hard to find an NIB BHP in Pakistan. You can find CZ 75 SP-01 in all big cities and all SP-01 have steel frames. Is there one with alloy frame as well?

Why should one undertake such an experiment, if at all it is possible to manufacture a quality frame in Pakistan

May be the OP is talking about P01 OR he was talking about phantom SP01 which is polymer frame out of other SP01's

the CZ-P01 comes in Aluminium frame if I am not mistaken... which makes it much lighter then its elder brothers the Shadow, Tactical and the 75 SP01 which come in all steel frame....

Hi KBW, true that is proving difficult to find BHP here but hopefully karachi or peshawar might be able to source one. Yes the SP01 also comes in a polymer frame.. depends on preference really, both have pros and cons.. Naveed i think there are three different kinds of SP01, tactical, shadow and phantom. The phantom has a polymer frame.. would have been a lot easier if they just give different names altogether i guess!  Sorry SR, should have clarified!  Yes Deathrow the CZ P01 has an aluminium frame, shadow and tactical both have steel i think, but phantom polymer.. Am actually looking for a CZ SP01 Shadow { to be precise  }

Absar So you were talking of SP-01 Phantom This discussion would have been far more focused had you mentioned SP-01 Phantom. Most members here are aware of all models of SP-01 lines of pistols. Any reasons for going for NIB BHP? You can find used pieces here and there but NIB would be rare and if you get it, it will be expensive. Not worth the money you might pay. SP-01 lines of pistols is a much better option if you are not uncomfortable with the size. Technically, SP-01 is far better than BHP. Shot both of them extensively.

Absar,
You might want to check out the Saddar Armory at Lucky Star...
Last SP-01 I saw a while back was at this shop. He had both the two tone as well as the black one...
IMHO, SP-01 offers an all round performance with reliability in a far lower price ...0
Good luck... Cheers...

Look for their thread, they have their telephone number too. Call them up when you have a couple of minutes ... Tayyabali is also a good source for genuine information around in Lucky Star market. Cheers...

Quick update! Checked out at least a dozen shops in Karachi - all over practically. All the ones mentioned above and a lot more. Saddar is a waste of time if looking for anything of top quality in my limited opinion. It is good for standard items. Guns and Accessories were the best! Extremely helpful and very resourceful.
Thank you to everyone for all the guidance and assistance!
All the best!

Personnally , I have been a fan of the BHP for many years. But with todays technology, and the limited availability of NIB BHP's in your area, I think any of the CZ pistols are a better choice for you. I will not sell my BHP's but I would like to add some CZ's to my collection. There does come a time when you have to move forward, and progress with the designs of today. The CZ75 series is so much more advanced than the BHP , especially for the money.
