Let me make it simple for you,

Neither the POF or any of their dealer is willing to sell these pistol's because the deal makers have already digested their commissions & nothing else has been left for them in this game.

And the local dealers are not buying it because prices are set by POF & their profits are zero as compared to the imported weapons.

So these pistol's will eventually end up dumped somewhere like PK9.

Hmmm In this case since they have an outlet in Karachi's biggest arms market , why go though dealers why not sell directly to the public.

:?: Can someone please shed light on this issue?

Thanks for the clarifications Mian Jee and I agree with you. Our dealers would not like to sell these pistols because if POF is selling PK9 in 33K, the dealers wouldn't get much profit. And from "much profit" I mean 15 to 20 K or perhaps 30 k per pistol because that is the kind of profit our dealers are tuned to. How sad it would be.....

Another reason due to which PK9 may not be marketed anytime soon is the patent issue. At the bigger level, I think that is one of the main issues.

I have seen over 10 PK9. I would say that their finish is not as good as CZ or some of the Turkish and Taurus guns but they are at par with Chinese handguns, may be a little better. And when you open up the gun, internals are pretty well made, far better than the local made pistols. There is just no comparison. After all, these guns have been made on proper machines. I wonder you saw an original PK9 :confusion-questionmarks:

Although not relevant to this thread, can someone point me towards a shop where I can go and review (maybe a side by side comparison) of the PK9?

The faulty pin issue has been resolved in the ST-9. New lot has arrived and is selling for Rs 57,900. B6 is for Rs. 50,000. Also POF is replacing all old ST-9's with new ones free of cost! :)

Very good step by POF. I think it will go a long way in restoring the reputation of POF.

Good initiative. Hope they plan something similar for PK9 and faulty batches.

If a man was confused between an St9 and a B6 will anyone offer free advice to him? There's not much info on the ST9?
Thanks you :)

Its good to see POF making these efforts to gain confidence of local citizens, and replacing free of cost is always appealing to every Pakistani!

SS - I'm waiting on your question too, please if someone can comment on the comparison of ST9 and B6 in terms of their performance, built, durability, reliability, etc?

Cheers...

Shot by Saif from 25 M, ammo was Baranul. Handgun Sarsilmaz B6. The grouping was good but in his hands it was shooting to the right.

Definitely not very good, just ok. I am used to my Makarov and CZ trigger and this was a brand new gun we were shooting, hence the results. I hope this gets better after a few range visits.
