POF has recently imported few semi auto 9mm pistols & a couple of 12 gauge shotguns.

Guess what? Yes, a pump action & an auto loader.

All from Sarsilmaz, Made in Turkey but under the name of POF.

I know the remaining models & their prices but I won’t tell you until I lay my hands on them.

Right now I have only two pistols laying with me, ST9 & B6.

Both are very well built, neatly finished & very good in all visual aspects.

SS, I am not sure about these pieces but as per my info, POF has signed a long term contract with Sarsilmaz for manufacturing weapons under license. The price of these weapons indicates that they are imported. When manufactured in POF, there prices should come down considerably, IMV.

People will only buy POF weapons if there's a considerable price difference and the quality is excellent. And if its so then Sarsilmaz won't be selling in the market.
But I think POF can sell it to the LEAs and Army.

Never occured to me. You have a point.
We never know. Pof can have shipments cleared easily and import cost can be very low compared to dealers.
No wonder they want to enter the market.

As per my info there is no connection between the two. Restriction on import of Turkish pistols is on request of Pakistani Govt which happened after the incident of importing auto pistols, declaring them as semi auto pistols by a Lahore dealer. Sometimes everyone has to suffer due to the sins of one person. There is no ban as such.

POF has probably entered into a long term collaboration contract with Sarsilmaz.

It was long overdue. If POF is legally importing them today than tomorrow they will start manufacturing them also. That's an excellent news for local gun enthusiasts. Its only a matter of time now...

As per my info, the are doing transfer of technology agreement. That means Sarsilmaz will be installing a plant for the win manufacture in wah. That sound pretty good.

That's good news. A TOT agreement is a very good option. Later they may add other products as well to make it cost effective.

I am excited that you guys may get Quality firearms manufactured in your own country.
Look how Springfield did here when they bought the rights from Mauser and designed the 1903 Springfield, or the Beretta 92 that is made here.
I hope you can get them at a reasonable price.

There is already a show room that they have in Karachi's Lucky Star Market. That the POF people have set up. They are waiting for a dealer license from the provincial govt to start selling
