A difficult one.

-Do you prefer safety(mp446) or decocker(cz999)?
-Polymer frame (mp446) or alloy frame(cz999)?
-Almost no spare availability (mp446) or availability of some mags etc(cz999)?
-which one of these fits your hand better?
-with which of these can you shoot better?

Bailkal MP446 from model years 2009/2010 would be my personal preference now for a weapon with safety, with a bit of trigger work, it becomes an excellent weapon. I am not against weapons having a decocker, would prefer otherwise.

CZ999 has an equally good trigger (sometimes better), and any model year except series 7xxx would do. (series 6xxx, 8xxx etc are all fine), and is ideal for car carry etc.

In the end, it all comes down to your personal liking.

I think its difficult question. I have shot a Viking once but haven't fired with a CZ. However. I have heard very good things about the CZ.

@ SAIF.........its not matter of mine, just want to discuss pros and cons of both guns.

Love to see and fire from CZ999. Based on reviews and advise of senior member chose Viking and bought it.

I've been able to fire accurately with both CZ999 and Viking. Both fit my hands well. I went through the thought process of deciding between the two last year when I wanted to buy a handgun which could take rough treatment and I choose the CZ999 over the Viking mainly because I liked its looks better. It had that SIG P226 charm attached to it plus there were no doubts about its reliability and accuracy. I believe, both are durable to the extent of durability-level we, casual shooters should expect from a handgun for SD purpose.

I liked its trigger and less recoil. The experience was really good.

when i use baikal of my friend, i was amazed with the shooting experience....
same here soft and crispy trigger, and on double action fires continously.
recoil is very less and the grip fits i my hand perfectly

Viking hot round nai chalta.. aur is k frame mai crack b report hoye hain... while cz999 ki koi asi report nai hoi..
Russian army viking mai mp443 version use karti hai.
Jb serbian army zastava cz999 or ez9 as side arm use karti hai...
