Other than guns which are the basic thing, we also end up buying so many things that are required to keep are guns or their use in order. Hence this thread which may include pics of cleaning kits, rifle / shotgun cases, ammo and weapon boxes, etc etc ....... everything that a gun enthusiast has in his cabinet :)

Here are some of the pics .................... ;)

Image
Cabela's multipurpose kit which can be used for most handguns, shotguns and rifles. Comes in a nice aluminum box. Costs US $ 40 (price in USA).

The other one is the OTIS all purpose kit which can be used for cleaning most calibers in handguns, rifles and shotguns. Very handy and light, can be attached with the belt. Costs around 50 US $.

Would post more pics of other accessories like ammo boxes, gun cases etc. Hope to see a healthy contribution and lot of pics from other members also......................... :)

The Otis multipurpose cleaning kit is standard issue to US Army and very reasonably priced here. It is a very handy utility. I have already consumed all the cleaning patches!

Here is some of my collection. Some are bought from Sitara Market Hayatabad else are from the U.S. The OTIS stuff is simply awsome, I plan to copy the small ones for the Army too...at some stage.

Nice supplies you have there THI.

Do tell us a little about the utility/use of each of these items. Any special or unique property any of these items have as this would help us improve our buying in future.

I use a carb cleaner, but people have different opinion about it! I do admit though, its not polymer friendly! ;)

Carb cleaner is overkill for cleaning purpose. I admit its the easiest to use.

A slight carelessness with the carb cleaner, and you can kiss the paint of your metal/alloy frame goodbye.
My friend spray paints his scorpion every fortnight.
Brunox/wd40 is sufficient.

Amazing stuff brothers !
Last sunday was my first every experience of cleaning a weapon. Despite all the years I have been carrying and using fire arms, I never cleaned a weapon myself. But after seeing the passion which most our esteemed members have for guns and specially maintaining them. After taking a beauty nap, after an early sunday range session I gave it ago!
Tools used for cleaning were very basic, I managed to dissassemble it in no time but it took me around 15 minutes to reassmble. This comming sunday, I plan to take all my stuff out and clean them myself..... An exiting experience for me and I thought of sharing with all of you.......any one who wishes to get their weapons cleaned bring them over :P

@Shooter
Brunox is good for cleaning dirt after firing, including copper. But don't use it too much. It will spoil bluing. Thanks :)
