@KBW...............Thanks Sir! :)

@Isk............ Beautiful shot there!

I've always been fascinated by the photographic effects of a fish-eye lens, but have never had one for myself.

If prices are as mentioned by KBW Sir, well, it seems I'm gonna have to sacrifice a whole new weapon and more, to get one!

Any idea, how much a mediocre one is for over here?

Regards. :)

I think Nikon Coolpix 5000 was a very famous camera for digiscoping, If you have a good quality spotting scope it can be used as a prime lens for some wonderful still photography (no birds in flight). What is making the arc in water in 2nd last picture is it a fishing line can't be a wind gust.

Very nice photography Haider95 and Canik,

Haider are these cropped images? Just for an experiment take the walther shots once more by zooming in from a distance and flash on. Was there a window or any other strong light source from right side? also was camera on spot or evaluative metering?

KBW sb I am still curious about the arc in 2nd last pic of your previous post

Light was on left rear side and I used the auto settings with flash off. These images are not cropped. I can't take the pics now because the guns are in Pakistan :(

Here are few more pics. :)

Aperture: f/4

What could I do to take a better picture if there is not time for settings as this male mallard was just trying to take off.

It is a rope, attached to a small boat on the other side. I think they kept it tied with a rope so that a person using the boat for going on other side may leave it there and others might pull it back when needed.

This is the reason professional bodies are expensive all you have to do is program different settings on a dial and select the setting you need in a brink of an eye

All of a sudden, by bringing in expressions of a living object, you have raised the bar too high for the others. Before this, we were just displaying beautiful looking pics, technically. But your pics are special as they convey certain expressions which can be seen on the faces of these animals. That's brilliant and also reminds me of coco and buttons. Saw them on the skype the other day and they are doing fine back there.

Knowing Coco, this was quite an unusual expression as she is always in a good mood. I don't remember when you captured it but it's well done. Thanks for the pics.

We were out hunting Labairs (Turtle Dove) when it started raining. After the rain, we had a very clear atmosphere and luckily, a rainbow too. I was carrying my pocket Nikon Coolpix 5100 which due to its small size is my standard camera on hunting and fishing trips. It is no professional camera but does the job for me and is easy to carry.

I took a few snaps of rainbow and sunset that immediately followed. The pics have not been edited and I was surprised to see the results. A very clear atmosphere and good angle (from light point of view) did the trick I believe. Have a look yourself

Camera is Nikon Coolpix 5100. All pics have been taken on auto focus mode, using the landscaping programmed option.

@Sualeh excellent pet photography, too bad that the last one went just a bit out of focus, which AF mode was camera on I hope it was on Servo but to get such a flying moment shot you need a lot of luck as well.

@KBW Beautiful landscapes did you use any filters

No isk, it was just a simple digital camera (Nikon Coolpix P5100) on it's auto programmed setting for landscaping. It was the clear atmosphere and good light angle which made the diffrerence in my view. :)

Beautiful rainbow Sir! Nice shot.

The Nikon Coolpix series, especially P5000/5100 series were excellent cameras, no doubts.

I suppose the difference between these two wasn't much, else than approximately 2 Megapixels, right?

Regards. :)

Yup, I think so. And I agree Coolpix 5100 is a great camera. Small enough to fit in a large pocket and reasonably good quality. I am carrying my coolpix with me on hunting and fishing rips and have taken around 20000 pics with this one (the counter which goes upto 9999 is about to be exhausted second time :mrgreen: ). It's still serving me well on outdoor activities though I need to buy a fresh battery.

isk,
No brother. No filters. Just my small faithful camera lens (which can not be removed) :)
