Beautifully captured MR. :)

@ SR,

That's very good photography. Loved all the pictures shared. These were all shot by you?

Few pics taken early morning in natural light. No editing has been done, only the pics have been cropped a little and resized from 5472x3648 pixels to 1200x800 pixels as pics over 1200 pixels can't be uploaded on TGF; of course at the cost of a loss in picture quality.

BTW, Bolero is a very favourite rose of mine due to its elegant shape and heavenly classic rose scent. Breathing its scent very early in the morning is such a pleasure.

That's a nice pic, considering it's a cell phone. :) I used to have LG Nexus and it has a nice camera. Now I have Galaxy Note 3 which has a better camera for day to day photography. But the lust for effects can only be fulfilled through a DSLR perhaps.

I seriously recommend members that instead of buying yet another gun, buy a quality DSLR camera. Two years back I stopped buying guns and life is much easier now. :)

Recently Google has upgraded Nexus's cam and added a blur effect of back ground which is very nice but requires a bit expertise to focus on ur target then blur the back ground and take a pic..

You're coming back next month and I will see for how much longer you'll be able to fight the "itch".

I actually fought this itch in last two years and changed my priorities drastically. Spent my money on fishing gear, hunting gear and photography equipment. Wouldn't say that I saved any money as some of my fishing rods / reels are more expensive than say..... a Glock 17 and some of my camera lenses are thrice the price of a Glock 17 but I am really enjoying it that I have been able to shun the mentality (at least for a while) that gun forums have brought in, ie, keep buying more and more guns................ without a purpose and then feel proud of it. :)

NR thanks for a warm welcome, life style is quite different here and I do not have the luxury to check TGF from a desktop while at work will try to be a bit more regular. BTW I did post some landscapes here some time back dont know if someone noticed them or not.

KBW sb Lily does stand out for the first position beautiful colours, I wonder how the composition would have looked if you took a diagonal shot making use of the stem to create a golden mean, wish could smell the roses as well

ISK, yes, could have tried a diagonal shot but couldn't think of it at that time. By stem you mean stem or stamen? Couldn't get it.

Here are a few more...... sunset scene at Lake Ontario in St Catharines.

This guy was moving at quite some speed and I was happy to capture him in low light conditions.

KBW sir have you intentionally taken tilting horizons, I am trying to learn composition therefore asking such questions, I normally use focus point dots in viewfinder to align the horizon

I was happy to capture a very natural pink in low light conditions. Canon EOS 6D with 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens.

Image

And this is at night...... without using any rest or support. I am happy with the performance of this setup in low light conditions.

Image

PS: Pics have not been edited at all, only resized to fit TGF requirements.
