I am starting a new thread which is of my interest as well. Members are encouraged to share their contributions to help others for the knowledge base.

First one is from my side:

Pocket Power

This gadget is a must buy for all smart phone users, it is quiet common that after spending whole day at work/field we look for an electric socket to hook our phone to recharge and there are times when we are helpless specially while travelling.

I've managed to get an amazing device which is now available in market as well. This gadget is very handy, exactly same in size in weight of a cell phone which make it call "Pocket Power".

Pocket Power has a built in Lithium Battery, which is strong enough to store enough power to fully charge a standard cell phone twice or thrice whereas Big Screen cell phone can be charged once to 100% battery level. All you have to do is to charge the device once for 3 hours and then can be placed in your daily kit to recharge your cell phone when needed. This device is capable to hold the energy for one full week.

You are never out of power with this device as it has a solar panel which can recharge the built in battery of the device and can also transfer the required energy to your cell phone simultaneously. Means if you are in jungle for a hunt for few days and want to keep your phone alive then This device can do the magic.

What is in the box:
1. Pocket Power-Solar Charger.
2.User Manual. (Lost by my kids).
2.Cable to charge the device from any available USB port.
5. 5 Different type of connectors to charge most of the electronic gadgets like, most of the cell phones and ipad.

This is my daily companion and have helped me many times to stay on the radar for my circle. Though it came from abroad but a friend has got a similar one from local market @ PKR 2500 and is available from Mobile accessories shops in Saddar-KHI.

This product is made in China hence please don't expect any guarantee/warranty/after sales service. I am using it since last year and as of now its working fine.

Power Bank:
I've also purchased another device called Power Bank @ PKR 400 from the mentioned market having similar function but has no Solar panel. Just charge it once and it can replenish the battery upto 50%. Not bad at all to help you out when you are unable to find any power for your cell phone.

Power Bank is being sold at may e-shops in range of PKR 900-1200 including home delivery but IMHO why pay more when you can get it cheap yourself.

That's all folks for now and will try adding some more gadgets soon.

Very good share thanks. I am a strong proponent of tapping solar energy in small and big fashion.
@ NR, how is the Power bank experience? Thanks

@SS,
Thank you and the experience with Power Bank is somewhat OK. Best is to go for the Solar one and can opt Power Bank if there is budget constrain.

@SA- yours seems to be newer version having multiple power outlet and level indicator. Thanks for sharing.

Performance = Charges my i phone 5 twice and my BB Curve once on one full battery charge. On the go, while outdoors, since it has access to sunlight, it'll remain charged and continue charging other items.

I bought it around a month back. Was purchased through Atiq Massan. Don't remember the exact price.

I got one like SA's solar power wala from saddar @3150/- (he was asking for 3400) and a socket chargeable capable of 11200mAh. In the trial period the socket charger has managed to charge my S4 thrice from approx 17-20% to full. This cost me around 4000.
