I bought a pair of Chinese 5 11 with side zips. They were 2.5k after negotiation. The break in period was hell. But now they are fine. I have seen some Chinese Deltas as well at the Jahangir Park Market for around 3k or so.

I am currently (and very surprisingly) exprimenting with MAK work boots these days. I havent owned anything except CATS for the last 13-14 years, but since i cannot seem to find them here, i switched to MAKs. This is an Austrailian boot, being manufactured in Korea under license. So far they have been going okaye, but i havent put them through the torture that i put CATs through. But they are not slip resistant as the box said.I believe Owais Hasan also owns a pair of these. I would like to know his feedback on them as well. BTW anyone here going back and forth between dubai, kindly let me know. If you are willing to carry about 2 kgs of weight i would like to order a pair of CAT Midnight shift or shefelds from there.

Quality leather hunting boots will guard against thorns etc but I doubt such boots will be available in Pakistan. But you can buy online at Cabela's or BPS.
