I have been trying on my 11 year old son to develop instinct to shoot but he stayed away from shooting. He did tried a couple of shots from 9mm but was not comfortable with the bang.

Two days back he visited Rangers Club with me and to my surprise he went straight to Air pistol range with staff of Rangers, he selected his pistol himself and shot 22 pallets happily. 21 pallets landed on paper from 10 meters and I saw his glowing face while he showed his result to me.

I am thankful to the staff of Range who made him learn how to shoot, grip, stance, sight picture and breath control. He continued telling me what he learnt and also asked when we are going next.

Considering his first time, his results are awsome, right?

I wish to raise the new member of the forum and will try taking him to the next level ISA with help of senior members here.

This kid got lot of potential. Considering his first shoot the results are awesome. The distance was 10m and he shot very well. Out of 22 only one flyer. 21 on target wooosh..
The target paper was very small even I had difficulties in shooting on it.
Now try to bring him with you and leave him with range master to get himself polished...

Thts really good potential considering its his first time. If i remember correctly he has landed more shots on target than his father did the first time i saw him on range. I agree with optimus bring him to the range frequently and leave him be with the RM. Congrats to the little one. And his father.

All I can say is WOW...!!!

11 year old, first time with air pistol and lands almost all the pellets on the target...that sure is a talent...

NR Junior - shooting on air pistol target is not easy, and you are gifted with this talent...if you get just a little serious about shooting, you have all the resources at hand to get to the top...and I would love to see you there... :)

Kudos NR for bringing him to the range and gave him a chance to shoot, I agree leaving him with the RM would really get his skills up front and polished through professionals...

Cheers...
