Nice shooting. Brother you may like to use the TGF target which actually is a proper standard pistol target but up to 5 ring only. That will give you a better idea of your groups and shooting. May like to shoot only one weapon on a day. Shooting all weapons sometimes doesn't help as each weapon has its own dynamics and one spends all the time (and money) in making adjustments from one grip/sight/trigger to the other. Best of luck.

Thank you sir.

My First range visit was without any guidance back in 2013 so didn't had any idea however 2nd visit to ASCCL was well guided bt ED and the Range Master. A lot of learning and hope results will get better with time.

Very useful advice by KBW Sb.

Naeem, you've been attached to me by our Managing Committee for mentoring. This Sunday, we'll be spending some time at the range going over a few basics. I will try to transfer whatever basic precision shooting techniques I have learnt over the years from our seniors like KBW and Ghazi Sb, to you :)

Thank you SA and will try level best to join. My all weekends are dedicated to family as I hardly get time during weekdays and they do not let me go anywhere on Saturday and Sunday however will try finding a way to join.

That's understandable. Which is why we have dedicated only the last Sunday of the month for this purpose.

Please note that participants who register themselves for this mentoring program, will have to ensure attendance during this once-a-month session.

Attendance confirmed. SA, you've mentioned this Sunday which is on 19th whereas last Sunday is 26th which confused me. I am in for 26th which is a 100% deal and will try level best for 19th which seems 70% as of now.

Thank you for understanding.

Perfect. Just make sure you're there on the 26th. Your attendance on 19th will be a bonus, if possible, and help you on the main practice session which'll happen on 26th.

The competition among the three teams at the end of these practice sessions makes it all very exciting :)

Distance: 5M Meters (Two Strings of 5 Rounds each)
10 Meters (Two Strings of 5 Rounds each)

On this day I was part of SA Team, Its an excellent initiative by TGF to coach the members and was part of first program.

After briefing (already posted at viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3283&p=74053#p74053). I shot first two strings of 5 Rounds each from 5 Meter distance and the result was:

Image
free screen capture software
Scores:
First String: Results were below expectation.
Second String: A little improvement

After reviewing the results, the target was moved to 10 Meters and 3 Strings of 5 rounds were fired and the result was as:

Image
imgurl

This was done with one hand and I was asked why I am doing with single hand? and then SA guided that the stage will come for this but for now shoot with both hands and second set of 3 strings were shot with both hands. Here are the totals:

Third String: (Somewhat OK as first set with both hands).
Fourth String: (Very Poor result and the reason was wrong grip and taking shots in hurry). SA reminded me pressure points and guided how to grip the right and ....

Fifth String: (Improved results and got some tips how to improve and followed the mantra "It is not a must to shoot once gun is pointed to target, if you are not satisfied put your gun down and try again and again and again and once you are 100% sure SHOOT.

Sixth String: Excellent and felt satisfied. This was the point when SA asked me to call it a day.

What I have learnt:

Right stance
Right Grip
Breath Control
and Patience (Which is actually against my instinct but it worth alot to do the things on right time means strike the hammer when Iron is hot). Will try applying this to real life as well.

Thank you SA and Thank you TGF.

@ NR, this is excellent shooting. Believe me when I started I could barely land one round anywhere on the target from 5 M.

NR i hope you dont mind my intrusion, but it would be better if you dont score your targets at this stage. Just focus on the groupings.
