Can u tell me the names of the colt revolvers.

Wow, That would be one long list.
Colt has been making revolvers for 150 years.
They started in the mid 1800's with the Colt Patterson, Walker. Dragoon, the 1847 Navy, 1851 Navy, 1860 Army and many other models in the Black Powder.
Then durring the Civil war and right after, they converted some of those models to shoot metalic cartridges.
Then when Smith & Wessons Pattent on the Self contained Metalic Cartridge ran out in 1872, Colt designed the 1873 Single Action Army and was one of there most sucessfull revolvers.
Then in the late 1890's they made Double Action revolvers like the 1892 new Model Army and Navy.
But the Army found that the 38 Long Colt cartridge was not powerfull enough to stop the Phillipine Warriers in a war we fought in the Phillipine Islands, so they built the .45 Colt 1917 and the .45 Colt 1911 Automatic Pistol.
That is just the tip of the iceberg as far as the list goes.

Yes, I Have, end they are very Rare.
They were a Top break Open top revolver similar to the Smith and Wesson " Schoefield "
The Colt was a 44 caliber rimfire
They only made the revolver for two years, and it was discontinued in favor of the New 1873 single action army that was more powerful

I have never heard about the Colt Rail Gun.
Can you tell us more about what you found out ?

Well there are 2 models of the colt rail gun [1] model 01070RG and model no. [2] is O1980RG it has a [national match barrel],enchanced hammer,[upswept beavertail grip safety],[3–Hole Aluminum Trigger],[lowered and flared] Ejection Port.

So what do you think?

Now I know which gun you are talking about.
Colt decided for the 100 the year celebration of the Colt 1911 they would make a Custom Model with all the updated features that people put on there 1911 pistols.
I hear they are fine pistols and even come in a Black Finished Stainless Steel Model.
I would never buy one of these except as an investment, because I do not do competition combat shooting.
But similar models are being made by Kimber and the custom shops like Wilson

But to tell you the truth, when you mentioned a Rail Gun, I thought you were talking about a Gun that has been mentioned in a of of Movies ( I think one is with Mel Gibson Lethal Weapon 2 ) that is some High energy futuristic concept.
That one would have been a Prohibited Bore Weapon . And Highly " TOP Secret "

I was just reading an article on line about the Women Police Men in Pakistan I think it was from Abbottabad.
I guess they still have to wear there Burqa when they are going too work or are going home.
So, I guess there really are Burqa Avengers.
We have women police officers over here too.

Now, women police officers is a good crime deterent in itself,
Who wants to be arrested or shot by a Woman ?

Well then we should be burqa man.Then so i like revolvers i will shoot with revolvers and then everyone will call me 'the seventh burqa' and then there will be a movie 'the darkest burqa 7'.Oh yeah!

Please tell us why you like Revolvers ?
Most people now want Semi-Automatic pistols with high capacity magazines.
I too Prefer a good revolver, and maybe it is just because I grew up when they were still popular.
I prefer rebuilding and working on revolvers, because they are more of a Mechanical device.
All the parts have to work on concert to function well.
I have been rebuilding a couple of old Top Break revolvers made back in the early 1900's
I can not get the parts I need, or the old parts are so worn that even if I put in one new part, it will not work with the other worn parts.
But I have been able to get many like these shooting again.
They are not always the most reliable guns, but they will function and shoot.
And to me, that is much better than a hunk of metal that you hang on the wall, and say, this is the kind of guns they used back in the day.

Howdy uncle LAGS i think the revolver is a star for the shooters generation because i have my grandfathers revolver and it is a beauty and seven rounds go in it so that means i should only be permitted to use it in the shooters generation because i am seven_shooter.

That is a very good way to look at it.
Plus, having you grandfathers Seven Shooter, and you being the son of Six Shooter it is a Family tradition that can not be overlooked.
You having and shooting your Grandfathers gun , passed down to you by your Father helps keep the memories of your families history intact, and never forgoten.
I truely think the revolver is the Grandfather of all of the modern pistols we have now.
It's design for when it was invented was a Milestone step in firearms technologies.
We must not forget where things came from, and appreciate the things from the past , so we can appreciate where we are today.
There are more advanced guns today, then the revolvers of yesterday, but the revolver design works, and will never go away.

Uncle LAGS i think that its about time u tell me about ur legendary guns i want to know please because it might be a good memory okay and by the way the revolver i have is about 36 or 37 years old.I was thinking if i was the [seventh burqa] then what would be ur name.I think maybe i should will have to call u burqa LAGS.

I wouldn't look good in a Burqa, It would mess up my hair and make me look Fat.

Oh come on u can wear anything u want i was just thinking what would people call u and any gun legend.

I dont know if I have what you would call any Legendary Guns.
I think the oldest revolver was made in 1872 and they only made them for two years.
It is called a " Prescott Pistol " it is a 5 shot .38 caliber Rimfire.
It is currently not in shootable condition and I may have to convert it to .22 caliber to get it shooting.

Hey what if we turn into batman and fight the crime with a tommygun and revolver but call our selve the shadow gun.

I think we would be better off, if we went to school, and became Lawyers.
That way we could be part of the system that deals with the true crime.
And not get shot at, or beat up all the time.
The people who Make the Laws, Enforce the Laws, and are part of the system of justice that insures that the laws are fairly enforced to all, are the true winners.
Catching BGs is fine, but if the system is changed, then maybe there wont be as many BGs.

So lawyer man eh well okay but we should keep guns just if the judge disagrees u know something but what about FBI come on its gonna be cool uncle LAGS.So what do u think?

To join the FBI, You have to have a College Degree.
So if the FBI is in your dreams, then keep cracking those books, and get good test scores.

Some of the FBI agents are also Lawyers.

Maybe lawyers okay buy at night how about shadow man with pistols and revolvers.

HOW about lawyer man. OR your too scared to turn into gun guy.
